This is a once a year meal but seriously the best steak I have ever had. The staff are clearly very busy and deal with it the best they can. As the pub caters for take away also, there can be s wait due to staff shortages in the kitchen. No bookings available so get in early during holiday times to secure a spot and quicker meal times.

Great local pub and you can tell by the amount of people here any night of the week! We came both on a Saturday and Wednesday night in the middle of winter and full tables on both nights! Lovely wood fire in side, big beer garden that would be awesome in warmer months. Great food, well priced beer and lovely atmosphere.

Love staying here, this is about my third or fourth stay over the years. Its reasonably priced, comfortable and great food at the restaurant at the hotel!
