The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and the rooms are nice and clean. Beds are comfortable and warm. I stayed on my way north and on the way back. Great place to stay

Noise place, we heard EVERYTHING that happens outside the room. (We could hear the kettle from the kitchen area) If anyone was just walking outside we could hear it and feel the steps. In our case someone returned at 3am and decided to warm something in the microwave which kept us awake for an hour... (And we are not light sleepers...) We felt that the place is not clean enough so we used our sleeping bag to cover up during the night instead of the blanket they provide.

Stayed here overnight on my way through. The room was inexpensive, clean and refurbished. Mattresses in the twin room were very comfortable. Block out shades on the window. It's a pub hotel so you'll get music until 11.30 or so but otherwise it was great. Staff very helpful and friendly.
