Stylishly presented rooms & restaurant however our welcome was less than welcoming. Issue made over credit card for security different to the one we paid the room with. Underwhelming reception area & soulless during the day. For a boutique hotel at $300+ a night that we paid, I expected to find a coffee machine in the room. On a positive note, the restaurant meal was beautiful and generous in serving. Sitting next to the open fire was welcoming during the cold couple of days we stayed.

Visited the Boutique hotel while travelling through. It was a great experience. A very modern hotel with a great menu to choose from. Plenty of selections for wines, tap beer and sprints. Even had a few boutique beers to choose from. Had the fish and chips, cooked perfectly with crunchy crumbing and juicy fish. The salad was great and the hot chips were freshly cooked and crunchy. They have a beer garden with a great view of the surrounding suburbs/hills. Great location!

Beautifully restored old Pub with fabulous meals at a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly as well which made it a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend this place, you wont regret it.

Four of us had a lovely dinner at Commercial Boutique Hotel. The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful - could not fault the service. The food was very good pub food - we loved the lamb shank and beef rib.

Went for lunch a few weeks ago as they listed Dog friendly.......asked about seating as the lady was setting up out the front but my query seemed to be an inconvenience as she was flustered setting up (open at 11.30am) and it was 11.45am at the time........came back a little after 12 and was told we could sit out on a dirty old table in the rain......I asked if we could sit on the table on the deck and the guy refused.......there were no other customers in the pub and not 1 of the 3 or 4 staff seemed interested in working.......told them their attitude was appalling and simply went to the supermarket and grabbed groceries for home made cheese burgers and a 6 pack of beer and went back to our accommodation. Wouldn't recommend this place at all!

A great gem in the heart of Tenterfield - our experience was elegant and sophisticated. Despite us travelling over the very busy Christmas break, the team at The Commercial had everything under control. And despite a few leftover dishes on tables, and the occasional empty schooner here and there, it welcome surprise to us seeing the owner clearing tables and helping with service. For us, this was a true mark of a quality experience. The food was served promptly and the bubbles were ice cold, while the accommodation itself was exceptional

Great atmosphere, food & service. We ordered the seafood hot pot (delicious) chicken skewers (perfectly cooked). Highly recommend & will definitely visit when in the area.
