The staff is wonderful! They are super attentive and friendly. We arrived via taxi after a 16 hour flight. While we were still talking to the taxi driver, they got our luggage out and into the lobby. Our room was ready at 10 am although check in is at 3 pm. We were really grateful that we could check in early as we were exhausted from our long flight. They made sure to bring our luggage to our room and called in about 20 minutes later to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. The room was big and spacious. We had a balcony overlooking Darling Harbor. Everything was clean and we felt welcome and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They did an awesome job! The location of the hotel is great. You can easily walk into Darling Harbor and to the many restaurants that are located there. All in all, top hotel!

A most amazing stay! After our 15 hour flight, we arrived and we're so expertly greeted by Ramsay. We put us at ease and got us in early. Incredible service from the start. Outstanding location overlooking Darling Harbour pales to the service provided by Ramsay and Luke! The best of Sydney. For sure!

Personally? I think this hotel is okay for the price you get. I will be positive first because positivity is best, right? I liked how the hotel looked, including the bar, upstairs lounge and the way the building looked like. I liked my hotel room for what it is, it was a two bed small hotel room with a bathroom and a stunning view of the city. I appreciate the staff members for being friendly and kind. The negatives? I would only say that the hotel rooms are thin, because you can hear what people are saying when they are walking in the hotel corridors! And another thing, the lines were a tad long but thats probably because it was busy. Will I be back? It depends.

Terrible experience. Paid $550 for one night before flying back to Perth at the end of last month. We arrived around 9pm after flight delays and we exhausted. Go up to our room to find that the floor we are on is the same floor a club was on and drunk people coming in an out and was very noisy. Walk to our room to find the door open. Go in and try to shut and find that the door wont close as the door was placed on at an angle. Called reception to complain and they said they would send an "Engineer" out with no offer of a new room. I asked what time as it was late and they said "as soon as they can" After waiting 30 mins I went down to the desk and asked for new room as the service was not good enough and our level was very noisy. They then offered us a "quiet room" which was better however the noise proofing in the rooms is poor as I heard noise from the streets the whole night. The bathroom wasn't even fully clean there were marks on the tiles from not being wiped down. The only compliment I can give is the baggage team were helpful and friendly. The rooms weren't very modern or nice considering the price paid. Steer clear of this hotel!

Very happy with our 3 night stay. Breakfast was excellent with "real" coffee. Staff were very good. Parking at Wilson across Street is convenient but quite expensive. Location is close to city and Darling Harbour

Checked in, lovely door man. Reception said would we like to upgrade our room to harbour view so our 4 year old (and us) could watch the fireworks in Darling Harbour. I said sure. He said it'll cost you an extra $100. I said ok and we rearranged our evening so our boy could watch. He was so excited sitting by the window for fireworks that never came. We were all waiting. Then we complained they said theyd refund the $100 but pretty lack luster apology. Tiny room. So small! Too small. No blankets for our son. No pool. Pretty run down decor and foyer areas dirty. Shower weak and too low Noise from parties too loud

Had the worst hotel experience possible here. Bunch of racist employees. Asked for a room on a higher floor, was given the lowest floor with a view of the exhaust fans. When i called the front office the manager slammed the phone on me. At breakfast when i reached the front of the line the server went behind me and seated people, this happened twice after which i stopped eating at the hotel, since it was a business trip i couldn't change hotels but will never stay at a Hyatt again.

Had our daughters wedding in the Grand Ball Room. Absolutely impeccable service from start to finish. From the initial meeting, Mary and Joanne made everything possible and were responsive and professional. If you want a special venue with excellent food and service, you will be happy with the team at the Sydney Hyatt Regency. The bridal party and many of the guests stayed the night at the hotel and breakfast next day. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Everything was wonderful.
