At night the worn down facades looks like a Butcher shop closed down for business. However as you approach you can vaguely make out orbs of light sources glowing in the mason jar candles through the shop front curtains. Upon entry Rock n roll, soul and blues can be heard whilst being greeted warmly by the wait staff. The vibing but initimate lit space have some well crafted cocktails that taste great. The rustic decor, feel good music, warm lighting make you feel tucked away from busy street bustle. Once I sat down I didn't want to leave. Had lots of fun.

Entering the disguised and unassuming shopfront, we walk into subdued lighting and too cool tunes compete with the enthusiastic bustle of the Friday night crowd. The cocktails we bought from the small suggested menu were skillfully assembled by the hip staff and tasted excellent.

A hidden gem! At first on the outside it looks like an abandoned shop front but as you enter it is a bar with a dim light setting to set the mood. Cocktails and drinks are served. A good place to mingle and catch up with friends.

Hidden behind the windows of an old butcher shop, Earl's Juke Joint has a wide range of alcohol on the menu, and is only a short stroll away from the Newtown train station. Has a good old school bar vibe. It's clean and good for after dinner drinks. It is though a bit loud as the night goes on, so likely better for those who enjoy slightly louder music. If you are in the area, worth a visit
