This is a very special place. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. I have always received outstanding service here & love hearing about where the wine comes from and what gives it its flavour. No matter the occasion, I have a memorable evening here. The wine is incredible and you often find yourself talking to strangers. It is one of those spots you feel grateful for knowing about :)

I came here to buy a bottle of wine to share with my girlfriend when we first started dating. They helped me pick. We came for a visit together some time later and they remembered our exchange, asked how we were and we had a lovely time. We've continued starting or ending date nights here for the past few years and always have a great time. The ambience is great and we love learning about the wine.

I love this wine bar! The owner Marco is so friendly and helpful and I always feel like I learn something ne about wine when I go here. The bar seats around 20 people around one big communal table. The best thing here is every time you visit the wines are different, you say what you feel like drinking and he will match a wine for you. They also offer take away wine so you can take a bottle for dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants.

We were really looking forward to trying Cittavino. We could not of been more disappointed, sadly the strangest hospitality experience I have ever had, my husband also was very weirded out. We walked in on a Saturday night looking forward to a glass of a lovely Italian wine. We were greeted by a man that I assume is the owner, he asked us what we felt like. That is were the good service stopped. This man must been having a bad day, he was abruptly rude, with some very insulting remakes made about my husband wearing a hat. We also werent asked what kind of wine we like, literally sat down and then he plopped two glass of wine In front of us, mine was a lovely glass of bubbles, which was delicious but my husband loves a glass of red and wanted to know more about the variety of red, the owner just grabbed the bottle and slammed it down and then said this is what your drinking, is that ok?!! With an angry look on his face. He was extremely passive aggressive. He sucked all the joy out of just sitting and sipping a nice wine and wanting to know more about what were actually drinking. We could not wait to leave. Not sure what is going on in this place, but I would not recommend going here at all especially with so many other great places near by.

The ultimate wine guru. If I fancy a wine this place always comes up with the goods. So much so I use the delivery service for gifts - anyone can give you flowers or chocolate, I send wine. This has been so appreciated by my ACT and Vic family. Curated wines that I generally cant get any where else.
