Being from out of town its hard to find a good counter meal sometimes but the crew at the Boomerang Hotel nailed it tonight. Although the bistro was booked out the extremely friendly staff found us a table in the bar and helped with the QR ordering system. Food was magnificent and beer was nice and cold. Will definitely come back next time we are up this way 10/10

A pleasant surprise during our stay at the Boomerang hotel for a weekend event. The attached Bistro served great food and cocktails. A great place for parties or quiet catch-ups. Loved the atmosphere and ambience; enjoyed the amazing lemon butter grilled salmon. Invited my close friends to have dinner with us at our hotel and they loved it!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and adequate with lots of PowerPoints. But heating/air conditioning noise kept us awake. We turned ours off and still next doors kept us awake. I think some of the rooms have quiet split systems though

Good hotel. Because we had to depart earlier and will miss breakfast time, the hotel had kindly offered to prepare breakfast ahead of time and left them in the room for us. Very thoughtful.

Rump steak was cooked to an extra grade, making it overcooked. To top that off my drink order was forgotten about twice! With absolutely no apology offered when staff were asked. Seats would have been better if I sat on the floor. Table was wonky and needed to be proped up with a tissue. All round a dissapointing experience.

At least the Beer is cold,the wife and I went for Sunday dinner orded Entre and Main course Entre - Garlic herb bread with melted cheese was hot and delicious 2 slices per person could have been one more Main - Grilled fish with chips and salad,the actual man part of the dish was two tiny grilled fillets of fish not even kids sized serve and Was barely warm (Possible breach of food standard's in Australia) chips were hot thankfully and reasonable sized salad. Wife didn't eat second piece of fish as had gone cold,Was served while we were still eating the Entree must have been in a hurry to get us out or something
