We walked in the door to great bar service and a good chat. There is an unreal area off to the side to have a game of pool and a couple of beers. The steak was cooked to perfection with lovely fresh veg and chips. 10/10 would recommend this pub

First night over cooked steak. Second night spaghetti bolognaise, the lady said she cooked the sauce herself. No meat in it, just a watery liquid. Pasta not cooked. Terrible. The mates have been staying here for years, change of owners. Would never stay or eat there again

Had oysters Kilpatrick and lamb rump in red wine sauce with mint jelly, salad and chips. We travel around NSW all week every week and eat out often and I always leave a honest review. When I looked at the prices on the menu last night I thought they were very expensive for a pub meal so not being starving I said I'd just have some of my mans tucker as I am tired of paying good money and being disappointed. When they arrived I was stunned. The size and quality was fantastic. Best salad I've seen served up anywhere in many years. The lamb was to die for and even the chips I usually don't touch were delicious coated in the lamb sauces. 10/10 to the cook from us!! 5 stars for the meal

I dont have a great deal to say that is great about the new menu or wait staff. The atmosphere was very dull. No back ground music. The wait staff very green we got garlic bread and brusscetta but no side plates. The garlic bread was burnt but the brusscetta was nice. 3 of us ordered gnocchi and well under cooked. The carbonara was extremely oily and the bolognaise had a very bitter taste. We has one rissoto which was good. The kids meals came out quick but no tomato sauce. When asked for sauce we got a mank squeeze bottle. Overall I rate the whole experience a 4 out of ten. Early days thing may get better

Just had dinner at Sportsmans Arms Hotel Deniliquin. Been there before had the parmi, not bad. This time unbelievable! One star is even to much! Ordered T-bone steak and got an half-centimetre thick overcooked horrible steak. One of the waiters comes to the table and says: that's fuc***g bad, and goes away, not even an apology! Other waiter, the owner I guess, comes and takes the steak back to the kitchen, comes back 10 minutes later with an other steak, just the same cut, just cooked, still cold on the sides from being in the fridge! Brother got pork cutlet, not even 50 gr. $70 bucks well spent! Thank you guys. Just don't make steaks if you don't have it. If you are in Deniliquin go to Coachhouse hotel, much better steaks and staff, unbelievable!
