A bucket list sunset in the beer garden knowing that your dog (big dogs included) are not only welcome but catered for. We do a lot of travelling both domestically and internationally and I have to say that this quiet little gem in the New England tablelands is a must visit! Warm fires inside and a beautiful beer garden outside! We didnt stay in the units, but they definitely tick all of the boxes when travelling. Clean, bright, warm and your dog is more than welcome (we did a tour in heart of a cold snap)! New owners have really thought about everything when it comes to making your stopover memorable (and knowing that a crazy boxer puppy is welcome makes it the BEST!) Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back and looking forward to your new vision!

We recently stayed overnight at the Top Pub and had a great experience. The restaurant was delicious, with a wide range of local craft beers to sample, and the food was really tasty. The motel was clean and comfortable; it felt like a home away from home, with plenty of space for our family of four. The beds were very cozy and the bathrooms were spotless. It was also nice and quiet for our kids to sleep, which we appreciated. We started the next day off right with a cup of Allpress coffee from the Pear Tree hole in the wall cafe. They use high quality beans and make a great cup of joe! We also loved that there was a fenced off outdoor area for our kids to kick a ball around in - large grass areas where they could run around and have fun. We were so impressed by the hospitality at Top Pub that we're looking forward to coming back soon to see what other developments they have in store! Highly recommended if you're looking for a cozy place to stay with great amenities and delicious food & beverages onsite.

I had a weekend away with a friend recently. Blackwater was the halfway point so we booked in a the Deepwater Hotel. From the first phone call to the last goodbye Stuart & Suzie were extremely accommodating & went out of their way to make our stay welcoming. By the end of the weekend they felt like old friends. Thanks guys we will be back. Cheers, Scott

We called by the Deepwater Hotel Top Pub when travelling along the New England Highway on a recent road trip. Their hole-in-the-wall coffee shop (The Pear Tree) was open and we were able to order coffees. Friendly staff and locals, with great service and great coffee, and with seating out the front, this was a welcome break on our travels.
