Didn't actually see the place so can't comment on it but... Booked online via Last Minute with Coffs Hotel Motel using AMEX. Hotel called later saying they didn't take AMEX and to rebook with another card, which I did. Then received an email saying the booking was cancelled. Booked another hotel. Noticed they charged my card anyway. Rang early in the day I'd booked to find out what was going on and let them I wouldn't be turning up - they cancelled the booking for the evening but have refused to refund the charge!

Looks it's not pretty, if you're looking for practical, a little retro, a bit out dated but functional, amazing location, food close by, the beach on your door step than this is your place. If you're used to anything fancy keep scrolling and book somewhere else. The service at the Hoey Moey is pretty steller, not gonna lie. The food was top notch. I would stay here again in the same room.

Though pleasant people my first room was not as presented on their website. I asked for upgrade they obliged however the room had inadequate privacy as curtains were not the same width as the window on the main thoroughfare fare, the seating in the lounge room was appallingly uncomfortable, totally misrepresented on their website. Needs total refurbishment as old, dirty and rooms are not functional nor comfortable. Go elsewhere leave this for the young and the drunk!

Room door was extremely hard to open, bathroom sliding door wouldnt close properly. Absolutely no cutlery - not even a teaspoon to stir coffee. One mini packet containing 2 biscuits for a double room. no plates even though hotel offers takeaway. No menu or local information provided.

It looks more like back packer than hotel motel.title for the place needs to be reviewed. _ Over price _ Too much noise after midnight _ Drunk people around If you are a family and need a quite place to stay, Do not book this place

Way overpriced. More like a back packers. Attached to a bar/club, so loud music and drunk people wandering around all night. Reception located inside near the bar. They say parking available no need to book, but not the case, and when asked management they just say someone will move later, so try again then. Cleaning not satisfactory. Very disappointed, will never be going back.
