Great Pub! We stayed the night and enjoyed the warm service beautiful room and comfy bed. The front bar has such a nice atmosphere, full of friendly locals and the bistro was top notch, can recommend the 12hr slow cooked lamb shank. Absolutely will be coming back!

If you are after five star character and five star friendliness in an historic country pub, the Bowra Hotel is it. Worth the cost of a stay just to sit on the magnificent balcony and type a review. While you are here have a look at some of the local timbers the owners have used as they restore the building. Very highly recommended.

Great local pub with excellent drinks & grub. Schnitzel and T-bone for $30.... Unbelievably tasty at highway robbery prices....Did I mention the T-Bone melted like French butter in my mouth?

The rooms are typical for a rambling old 2 storey pub. Our room was on the verandah, which was very wide but not in the best condition. However, their bistro is fantastic. Huge excellent meals which took less than 15 mins. Very popular with the locals. Will come back for sure.

Bowra Hotel/33 on High is an absolute hidden gem, the restaurant has seriously good pub food. If you're in the area and looking for comfortable family dining in a quaint country pub, you've definitely found it. Lovely staff and the meals have a touch you don't normally get in a small country town

Waited 50 minutes for food and when we enquired as to how much longer to wait ( had to get to work) we got a gnarly reaction from a gnarly cook. I get that they were busy but that was not cool.
